St Lawrence Players

"We never close" might be a very good motto for The Players. Having completed our last play we are already planning an entertainment for Saturday, 22nd June at 8pm in aid of Fr. Godwin's Memorial Fund. We hope part of the evening will consist of a Victorian Music Hall. The music hall has had a well-deserved revival in the last few years and we hope you will come along on the 22nd to help us "Knock 'em in the Old Kent Road".

Stained Glass Window Fund

. . . most from individual donations but organisations are also playing their several parts in raising funds. Activities include collecting boxes and coffee mornings to the recent Old Time Musical arranged by The Players, - - songs, sketches by The Players and their "guest stars"", Mrs. Beryl Trent and Messrs. Malcolm Dedman and Carlo Meyer, ably supported at the piano by Mr. T. Edwards and Mrs. M. Dedman. I understand that from this show a sum of £20 is being handed to the Treasurer of the fund, for which we are most grateful.
