A Note from the Director
As most of you are aware, for the past twelve months we have been unable to use the stage in the hall for our productions. As you can imagine, trying to find a suitable play and perform it in the church is not an easy task. Back in April last year, I had an idea for Players to perform an evening of entertainment based on that most powerful emotin - love.
Since then, many ideas for the performance have ebbed and flowed! I got the ball rolling by writing some sketches and fortunately so did Barbara Williams, who has come up with some brilliant ideas! When the idea took hold, many Payers brought along their favourite love poems to perform and, to add that touch of magic, Duncan Sykes has pulled the whole evening together with his witty and entertaining choise of music. And so an evening of entertainment was conceived and planned and, we hope, is about to be enjoyed by all!
