Beryl thinks C1 & C2 are a sketch from some revue.
The first three photos (D1 to D3) were on a left facing page to the next four (D4 to D7) on the right. These four were titled "St. Laurence Pierrot Troupe". They all appear to be from the same set of photographs. D8 was overleaf and a larger print, although obviously the same production.
