         About the author
The writer Derek Hoddinott had a varied career, always writing in his spare time.
He moved from newspaper journalism to children's publications and finally to the BBC
where, in 1963,he became drama publicity officer responsible for launching through the
media, amongst other productions, The Forsyte Saga.
Derek has written over one hundred television and radio scripts. "Din Dins"
was first published in 1982. His stage adaption of "The Forsyte Saga",
published in 1991, was produced by St. Lawrence Players in May 1998.

         About the play
Judy and Nick arrange a dinner party at short notice in honour of a friend
		flying in from abroad.
One disaster follows another as the dinner arrangements unravel and the relationships
		become strained.
Both before and after dinner, the three contrasting couples provide many
opportunities for various and amusing observations and comedy.
