from 'Welcome and good evening'
Our play begins on a day in the diary upon which the Church hall
secretary must have spilt her lunch. An oversight in scheduling results
in a Saturday evening catalogue of clashed bookings and throws an unlikely
group of people together to sort out their differences. However, this
serendipitous meeting soon develops into something much more, as they find
themselves joining forces (with varying degrees of success!) to put on a
special parish show.
