"The Muddletown Players Amateur Dramatic Society have been invited by Radio Eastcote to provide a radio play for their series Saturday Night Plays.
"In a short while we will be recording our play, 'Miss Marple and the Detectives'.
"Unfortunately, Dotty, our sound effects lady, has been taken ill. So we hope that you, dear audience will help us out. Fortunately, Cathy has offered to help and has produced some of the sound effects on her tape recorder. For the rest of the sound effects I hope that you, dear audience will help us out. Peter will hold up the cards describing the sound effect we would like you to do."
