FROM 1948 TO TODAY
SCHOOL FOR SCANDAL, 1948
By Sheridan
This is the earliest photos we have. The programme cost 1/6d. A review said that "while in some of the scence, the parts were somewhat garbled, thus losing the humourous technique, on the whole the players can compliment themselves on their production.
The Detectives, 2025
By VCJ Clarke
An interactive radio play. "Good evening ladies and gentlemen and thank you for coming. We hope you will enjoy this evening’s entertainment. "The Muddletown Players Amateur Dramatic Society have been invited by Radio Eastcote to provide a radio play for their series Saturday Night Plays. "In a short while we will be recording our play, 'Miss Marple and the Detectives'. "Unfortunately, Dotty, our sound effects lady, has been taken ill. So we hope that you, dear audience will help us out. Fortunately, Cathy has offered to help and has produced some of the sound effects on her tape recorder. For the rest of the sound effects I hope that you, dear audience will help us out. Peter will hold up the cards describing the sound effect we would like you to do."
