I joined Players in June 1999 with the idea of helping backstage. Having never taken part in any am-dram, I was surprised to be given a part in the next production Day After the Fair. I was so nervous that if the stage door had been open I would have run home! I have enjoyed all the parts that I have been given, my favourite being Maxim de Winter in Rebecca. My top play was Hobson's Choice. I find Players the perfect way to relax as it always ends with a trip to the pub!
