The first role I had in a Players production was a little pink fairy in a pantomime. How times have changed me ! I have been involved with Players for many years - recently, with too many other commitments to mention, that involvement has been restricted to attending performances as part of the audience. I don't think there are many groups that encompass people of such vastly differing ages, all working harmoniously (?) to the same end !
